Bad Start

I had a very bad start this morning. I already have vomited. I guess I should have ate the crackers than dranked the 7up. You live and learn I guess. I cannot believe how this disorder makes you feel. I feel totally out of control. I never know when I am going to feel sick or when I am going to get sick to the point of dehydration. Randy has been great. I did have one problem and it was not his fault. He got a phone call from Christine. Someone has told her our business. I am not sure who but the timing was amazing. She called the night I got out of the hospital. I think that was extermly rude. I really hope she loses Randys number. It doesnt threaten me just annoys me. Its funny how exs always turn back up when they know they cant have you. Jeff has asked me back a couple times since I met Randy. Its like they dont want you to be happy. Well we are going to be happy and nobody can stop that. Because we love each other to a point that nobody can touch. I think who ever told our business is sick. How could that person do that? We have a baby invovled here. Not to mention my child who loves Randy. Some people really need to grow up.

So much has happened!!

Last week was hell. I mean Hell. I did nothing but throw up to the point of dehydration. I was trying to eat I really was. I finally got to the hospital Friday. They admitted me. I defiantly have hyperemisis they told me. I got released on Sat. I think I might have it under control. I am taking zofran and pengran all the time to keep from being nauseated. Hopefully I can go back to work soon. I see the doctor on Tuesday to discuss the option of home health care. I had that done when I was pregnant with Tina. Someone will hook me up to an iv at home. Its much more comfortable than in the hospital. Well I hope this week is better.

Passing out and ER

Yesterday I woke up feeling funny, I went to use the restroom and I passed out. I dont remember doing it. I then started throwing up. I then realized that Hyperemesis is showing its ugly self. Its not easy having this disease. I feel nauseous and dizzy most of the time. I am taking meds for my nausea so far so good. I hope I can beat this thing and I am ready to put up a good fight. I am on a liquid diet for two days and I am off of work. I feel useless when I dont work. Well back to bed rest. I got to take care of that baby inside of me.

Up again early

I am extermly tired this morning but I cant sleep. I got the news back from my blood test yesterday. My hormone levels are still low but they seem to think they will rise every forty eight hours. I went and got some prenatal samples. I dont know why I get up this early then go back to sleep in an hour. It really is weird.I have to schedule my first prenatal appointment. I hope I can hear the baby's heart beat. I think it may be a little early yet. 5-8 weeks is when you hear it.I am so glad I am not a first time mother. I find them so annoying. Its funny to watch them think they feel the baby before they do. I mean I even thought I heard my baby's heartbeat my first time and I was wrong. First time mothers are funny. I am glad I know whats going on and I am ready. I can also save Randy some extra stress to.

I still dont understand why I have not gotten sick. I hope there is nothing wrong with the baby. I am sure everything is fine. I eat right and everything. I take my vitamens, I take naps. I am extermly healthy. Well wish me luck.

Weekend and my pregnancy

This weekend went way too fast. Friday, I had to work til 12am, I crashed as soon as I got home. Tina spent the weekend with Kisten, I seen her everyday though. Saturday was potato day for me. I had nothing put potatoes all day. I had one for lunch and dinner. I also had dinner with Randy's mom that was fun. I was so tired I tried to sleep on the couch it was not happening. Sunday I went to my cousins b-day and fell asleep early. Randy and Tina watch the show Planet Earth. Its their Sunday thing. I live with a bunch of science geeks.

I don't really feel pregnant yet. No morning sickness yet. Besides gas, and being tired. I have no real symptoms. I hope everything is ok. I really want this baby. Ever since I really got to know Randy and I fell in love with him, I could not wait to have his child. I am so lucky to have him. He is definitely every women dream. He is going to be a great father. He loves kids. I mean he is my daughters playmate. I never seen a man more ready to be a father. He is calling our baby Uncle Ben because its about the size of a grain of rice. He love this baby already. Every time I mention it he gets this look on his face. He looks so happy. I love him so much and I cant wait to marry him. Well I better get his lunch ready. I will keep you updated.

I get my blood test back tomorrow I am feeling pretty confinet about it.

No More Potatoes today. I ate soo many yesterday I felt sick at the end of the day. Well I will keep you updated as I know stuff. I cant wait to hear my babys heartbeat its going to be amazing I have three more weeks before that happens.

Fetal Development:

..> ..> ..>..>
first monthThe developing embryo has three layers. In the top layer (ectoderm), the neural tube will form which will further develop into the nervous system (brain, spinal cord, skin and hair). In the middle layer (mesoderm), the heart and circulatory system, bones, muscles, kidneys and reproductive organs will develop - eventually. At this stage, however, the heart and primitive circulatory system will rapidly form. In fact, the circulatory system is the first organ system to function. In the inner layer (endoderm), a simple tube will develop into the intestines, liver, pancre ..> ..>
Maternal Changes:
..> ..>
Your period is late and you may be wondering if you're pregnant. There are many home pregnancy test kits available that are fairly reliable a few days after a missed period.

The hormonal changes that come with pregnancy may cause your breasts to be swollen and tender as the milk glands multiply. You may feel hungry often or nauseated as morning sickness kicks in. Your growing uterus will begin to press on your bladder causing frequent trips to the bathroom. Not only do these symptoms vary in intensity from woman to woman but also from pregnancy to pregnancy in the same woman.

Multiples: Your appetite will probably shift into high gear as you need about 1 1/2 times the calories as a singleton mom. Fatigue may also be taking its toll. Rest and eat!

What Type of Care Provider?
..> ..> ..>..>
It's time to think about what type of caregiver will follow you through your pregnancy. It's important to find someone you trust and who will strive to make this a positive experience for you. Many parents have insurance constraints making the freedom of "choice" in selecting a caregiver difficult. Be sure to look into your insurance policy and then start working on finding the best caregiver for you and your baby.

More blood

I have to go this morning for more blood. I have to admit I am kind of scared. What if my hormone levels are not higher? Alot of people at work have been telling me stories about people they know that have miscarried because of that. I don't know what I would do if that happened. Randy was supportive as usual , I could tell he is worried too. I know he is just being strong for me. I always over analyze things. Today is my last day of work for the week yipeee. I know I only worked two days but I am exhausted. I cant wait for my weekend of rest to begin. I need to go out and get fruits and veggies to eat. I want to make sure that whatever happens with the baby it wont be my fault. I am going to get juices, .salads, fruits anything that looks good and that I can munch on. I am worried about all the lifting I do at work. I hope I am not over doing it. I am not sure what my limits are yet cause I have not really seen the doctor. I am going to ask today. I am soo excited to be five weeks. On Monday I will post what is happening to the baby so everyone can see. Well I am off to get blood done.

I am in fact pregnant

I just got my blood test back. I am in fact pregnant. I have to repeat the test tommorrow cause they want to monitor my hormone levels. They want to be .sure they are rising correctly. I just thought I let everyone know

Tina wanting a pet and being pregnant

Yesterday I was really hormonal. Tina wanted to go to the pet store. You know the one by big lots. She wanted to go there because last time we went there she became friends with this little kitten. Well we took her, the kitten was not there. I never seen such a broken heart little girl. I was crying right along with her, plus trying not to at the same time. Randy suggested playing with a puppy to get her mind off of it. We did that. It worked for awhile. We went to Walmart to get her glasses fixed. It started all over again. I think Randy almost cried. I think we both realized how important having a pet is to our daughter. We are planning after the baby is born to try buying a house together so that Tina can have a pet and the new baby can have some much needed room.

I could not sleep last night. I tossed and turned. I think its due to the gas I have on my stomach almost all the time. I am soo tired all day. I got a little rest yesterday. After awhile I was tired again. I think I am getting a cold. That's one common thing about being pregnant you get sick so easy. I sneezed all night long. I think I kept Randy up some. He has been working 9 hour shifts going in at 6. When he goes to work I have a hard time going back to sleep. Like now its 5:45 in the morning and I am up. I will probably start feeling tired and go back to sleep til Tina wakes up then feel tired later. I don't know how I am going to make it through work tonight.I guess I better figure it out.

Four Weeks

I am four weeks and two days. I hope to use this blog for my baby book so I will write as I have pregnancy symtoms. The only three things so far is, my breasts really hurt, I am exermly tired all the time, I have really bad heartburn and gas. Other than that I feel fine. I go to the doctors today for blood work. Its just to confirm what I already know. After that it will probably be a month before my first prenatal appointment. I am only four weeks, theres not even a heart beat yet. So you can better understand, heres whats happening.

Your baby is still very small, only about 0.014 inches to 0.04 inches in length. The embryo, probably in about its second week of development, has multiplied to about 150 cells. Your baby is being nourished by secretions from the uterine lining. Layers of cells already are specialized according to functions. The outer layer will become the nervous system, skin and hair; the inner layer will be the breathing and digestive organs; and the middle layer will become the skeleton, bones, cartilage, muscles, circulatory system, kidneys and sex organs.

Sick not sure why

Ever since last Friday I have felt sick. I have only felt this when eating or drinking. Its really weird. I have been soo tired. I fell asleep really early last night. I am not sure if I am stressed out or I have something seriously wrong with me. Hopefully its nothing just stress.
