Debunking all the myths!

Some people in my life have not liked me. Most of the reasons are because of rumors or because they are simply envious. I was so glad to debunk some of those myths and rumors with just showing someone the real me. 

My sister recently met a guy she really likes. My husband knows his family (long story). Well I guess his family does not like me because of what some chick from high school once said about me. I invited him over for dinner. We had a great time. I was so glad that he seen that I am not so bad. I never ever have told my husband to stop hanging out with his family. My husband made that decision on his own.It was for personal reasons that I am not discussing here. 

The main reason why I am writing this blog is that I think everyone should give everyone a chance. Don't listen to what other people say about a person. You may not know if there is conflict or history there. The stories may even be made up. I hope my sister's boyfriend goes back and tells those people that he likes me and that he did not see anything wrong with me. Also that I treat Randy good and he is  happy. I am all for getting the truth out and stopping the rumors and lies!

New Years!

    We could not go to New York. Hell who has the money in this economy to go anywhere? So we stayed home. I had to work most of the day on New Years Eve.We got all our supplies at the dollar tree. We got decorations, snacks, hats, noise makers, silly string, confetti,  and really glittery glasses. We were ready!

    Saturday finally came. New Years Eve! I had to work the majority of the day and did not get home til 9. I got home, we put on our hats and glasses. The party begun! We ate our clock cookies, and I admired the sign my husband and kids made.

Of course before I knew it Corbin needed to eat and I fell asleep. We did not even get to do the silly string or anything. Ava also fell fast asleep holding her favorite cookie. We ended up doing it the next night after I got off work.The time I was awake was very fun.

New years is this weekend. You know I cannot start the New year without some crazy craft. We decided since we cannot be in time square then we will bring time square to us! Of course my children are not wanting to help but Randy and I decided if they do not help then they do not get to bust it open. I know it is suppose to be silver but I only had gold paint. Oh well!
