This heat is killing me. We have airconditoning its just not enough when your nauseated , dizzy and prone to passing out. I just instantly lay on the floor when I feel dizzy its cooler there anyways. I went to the doctors today. Everything is great with the baby just my pap was abnormal. I don't have any STDs or anything they cant seem to figure it out so I have to have more testing done. I am kind of scared cancer runs in my family. Especially of the female organs. Well I will keep you posted as I know more info. Other than that life is great and its the same stuff puking and feeling sick.

Everything is coming together

Finally everything is fitting together! My divorce will be final hopefully in 45 days. Randy and I are going to get married shortly after that. Its time, we just know we belong together. I am almost 12 weeks. I just cant wait to be called Mrs. Channell. I love him so much and I know this time things are going to work. Gosh I feel sick. Just my normal morning routine have to puke up stomach acid.I have a doctors appointment ultrasound today I am soo excited. This is my third one. I had two done in ER. So expect to see some new pictures. The ones in er are not that good though. I will update later if I am feeling well enough. This hot weather is killing m

Depressed

I cant help but to be a little depressed. I feel soo helpless. I am not working right now. Randy is working alot of overtime to make ends meet. I feel like a mooch. Friends have told me that he knows I would do the same thing for him. Sometimes I dont think he knows I love him. Our romance kinda went down the tubes since I cant stand anyones smell. I want to hug and kiss him but I just cant all the time. Everyone who can eat and drink normally should be thankful. I havent been able to do that in so long I forget what its like. I have to tip toe when I eat and make sure its something I can keep down.. I am in the hospital once aweek meaning up to that point I am feeling lousy so I am not spending much time with Tina. I feel like a terrible mom and like a terrrible spouse. Hopefully in a few weeks I am better and things can go back to normal. Well thats all I have for now.

11 weeks

I am now 11 weeks. I am still sick. I spent the weekend again in the hospital. I think they keep room 319 open for me because thats the room I am always in. I couldnt believe how stupid other doctors are. I mean you would think they would read your chart. I went all day sun without the meds I need because Dr Smith and Er would not listen to me. I have went through this same thing once before I know what I am talking about. Every weekend I learn that I picked the right ob. I really scared Randy twice this weekend. I never seen him soo stressed. I had a seizure like episodes. The doctors said it wasnt a seizure just a reaction from passing out. I beg a differ. I am trained as a delegated nurse. Meaning I have spent more time on that subject then they have. Plus I did the same thing with my first daughter. They never did figure out what it was.I guess thats Marion General for you. At least my baby is healthy. I have been feeling so sick this morning, once you gag its usually over. My gag reflex in on overdrive with my hg. Everything smells bad and strong. I cant hardly stand to be near Randy. Its nothing personal I just cant stand his smell. I cant stand really anybody smell. I mean most foods smell nasty to me. I guess its a part of being pregnant. So if you are around me and I gag and throw up dont take it personally. Its just what I do. Its part of my disorder.

Your Baby:

Click To Enlarge third month photo Your baby's organ systems are now functioning and he has a skeleton, nerves and blood circulation. Your baby's tiny feet are fully formed and shaped and could stand on an adult's fingernail. The most critical part of baby's development is now over, and the remainder of the pregnancy is about rapid growth, organ maturation and getting ready for delivery. In fact, your baby grows so quickly now that he will start out this week being approximately 21 - 25 mm or 0.85 - 1.0 inches and by the end of the week will be 44 - 51 mm or 1.75 - 2.0 inches and weigh approximately 7 grams! Your baby's head is about ½ of his body length. The baby's eyelids are fused now and the irises are developing. Your baby will begin to get baby teeth, fingernails, toenails and hair follicles this week, too.

This time next year your baby will be 23 Weeks Old!. Can you believe it? Time flies so fast! Be sure you start chronicling these memories now by creating your free pregnancy & baby journal today! http://www.babiesonline.com/pregnancy/week-by-week/week11.asp

10 Weeks

Your Growth and Development
By the end of pregnancy 10 weeks your baby will have moved past the embryonic period, and will begin the 'fetal' period. The fetal period is the time when your fetus will grow rapidly. By week ten your baby is less at risk for congenital malformations, which usually occur during the first nine weeks of pregnancy. You should breathe a big sigh of relief by the end of pregnancy week 10 now that this important developmental stage is past!..> ..>

It is important however that you know that any exposure to toxins even during this time or throughout your pregnancy week by week can be damaging or harmful for your fetus. Your baby's health and well being depend in large part upon your ability to take care to protect them during the duration of your pregnancy.

One of the more common exposures that women may not consider during pregnancy is second hand smoke. Second hand smoke can be harmful particularly during pregnancy. If you find yourself in an environment where people are smoking, remove yourself as quickly as possible. Don't hesitate to address your needs or assert yourself during this all important time. Most people will certainly understand your concerns and will be more than happy to accommodate any requests to avoid exposing your baby to unnecessary toxins.

By the end of pregnancy week 10 your baby's organ systems are growing quickly. Now internal organs are starting to form and the vital organs including the liver, kidney, intestines and brain will start functioning. In the next three weeks alone your baby's length will grow exponentially. Tiny details will start appearing on your baby's body, including items such as toenails. If you were to look really closely you might even notice some peach fuzz growing on your baby's skin! By now your baby will be consumed with swallowing and kicking. That's right, your baby will swallow amniotic fluid during your pregnancy. Consider it a practice run for breathing once she is born!

Spinal nerves are also visible at this point in pregnancy, and your baby's liver is busy making blood cells.

Your Growth and Development
You may think you are starting to show by pregnancy 10 weeks, but most people still probably can't tell that you are pregnant yet. That is ok! After pregnancy week 10 and in the next few weeks you will start seeing some changes in your profile, your partner may have already commented on your ever so slightly more rounded belly!

Changes in You
Hang in there, now that you are 10 weeks pregnant just a couple more weeks and you should start realizing some significant relief from morning sickness!

By 10 weeks pregnant you are probably starting to feel more and more positive about your pregnancy. You have probably had the opportunity by now to hear your baby's heartbeat for the first time at your doctor's office. The sound of your baby's heartbeat for the first time will probably send you and your partner to the moon and back.

If you haven't invited your partner to accompany you to your prenatal visits by pregnancy at 10 weeks, you might consider doing so now. Though many are 'run of the mill' checks, your partner will feel more a part of your pregnancy week by week and more helpful and supportive if they are invited to your prenatal visits. During your visits your partner and you will also have the opportunity to discuss any questions and concerns you may be having about your pregnancy. Your partner may even think of a few questions you may never have even considered! http://www.womenshealthcaretopics.com/pregnancy_week_10.htm

Four days in the hospital/Picc Line/ babies

I just got out of the hosptial again. It was a long stay full of uncertainty. My insurance is being a pain in the ass about my home iv therapy. They want me to get a picc line put in. I am not sure if that is a good idea or not. Randy and I are going to do some more research and make the decision together. I love that man. He has proved to me over and over again that he is there for me. I can see him taking care of me when I am old. Hell he takes care of me now. He helps me take a shower when I have an iv in my arm and I cant do everything. Everyday he shows me that he is the one for me. I have never known anyone more loyal. I trust him with my life and my babies.I know he is scared. I am too. Its hard being sick all the time. I am glad I have him it makes it so much better. We have a rare type of love, everyone can feel it when they are around us. Its so rare in fact I know nobody who has it. I mean nobody. Its the type that lasts forever and has no conditions. Well I find myself going on and on again about Randy, you have to understand I love that man. I did not know what love was til him. Ohh I almost forgot about how HEALTHY my baby is. I heard its heart beat today!! Its 130 which is perfect. I also learned that women with hg only have a 3% of miscarrying while women without the disease have a 15% of miscarrying I really found that interesting. I am sure that eased Randy's mind. I know his ex miscarried with his child and I can see why he would be scared. Well I am off to cuddle with the man I love. I hope everyone who reads this has a great day. I hope everyone who is having a baby is doing well and everything is healthy.

Overwhelmed and My Babies

Its been awhile I know. I have been going through alot. I was once again hospitalized over the weekend, released then back in by Monday. I feel like a bad mother. I cannot control any aspect of my life. I cant control when I eat or anything. I cant even work. I know Randy understands, but I am a very independent women. I dont like depending on people to do things for me. I remember before I had my liences I would rather walk in the freezing weather than to ask for a ride from my family members. I never would put Christina in that situation but you know what I mean. I am going to have to be on iv therapy at home. So if I dont write on here for awhile you can assume I am laying on the couch with an iv in my arm. I feel so guily its like I am saying to my daughter that this baby is more inportant, I know thats not true but it feel like it. I love both of my children the same. I just have to take care of the one inside of me a little more than Tina. I have been told that she is smart and she understands. I hope that is true even if its not someday I will help her understand. Well I am 9 weeks my baby is an embryo about the size of a rasberry.

Your Baby:

This week marks the end of the embryonic period and the placenta is developing as well. Your baby looks like a tiny human now and is approximately 13 - 17 mm or about 0.51 - 0.66 inches in length (about the size of a raspberry). At this point, he weighs approximately 1 - 1.5 grams (the weight of a paperclip).

While the internal reproductive organs have now become either testes for boys or ovaries for girls, there's nothing yet to tell you whether it's a boy or girl even if you look closely. The skeleton has begun to form as cartilage and bones take shape. The baby's intestine has begun to move out of the umbilical cord into the baby's abdomen and your baby is now taking his first few drinks – he's drinking amniotic fluid. Remember, a little of what you eat and drink ends up in the amniotic fluid so, it can end up in him. Reflex muscle movements continue and now your baby will move away if touched through the uterine wall. Other changes in your baby are the heart valve formation, the retina formation, and the tip of the nose becoming visible. http://www.babiesonline.com/pregnancy/week-by-week/week9.asp

I mean I feel totally out of control when it comes to my life. I cant wait til the baby comes or my nausa ends. Well that's all I have for today

Eight Weeks

Week 8.. #EndEditable -->
(counting from first day of last menstrual period)
.. #BeginEditable "Around # Weeks After Conception" -->Around 6 Weeks After Conception.. #EndEditable -->

Please keep in mind that this information is approximate. Each pregnancy is different and growth rates vary. If you have any questions, please check with your care provider.

.. #BeginEditable "content" -->..Fetal Development-->Fetal Development: ..> ..>
2nd month An ultrasound done at this stage should show a fluttering heartbeat. Elbows begin to form in the arms and fingers start to develop. The leg buds begin to show feet with tiny notches for the toes. The face continues to change as the ears, eyes and the tip of the nose appear. The intestines start to form in the umbilical cord. Teeth develop under the gums.

Multiples: Your babies are developing at the same rate as singletons and each are about the length of two grains of rice.

..end Fetal Development-->..Maternal Changes--> ..> ..>

Maternal Changes:
..> ..>
Your uterus is the size of an orange now, and you may find your waistline expanding. If this is your first pregnancy, you're probably not showing. If it's not your first, you may have a "pooch" already. You will tend to show earlier in subsequent pregnancies since your muscles and ligaments aren't so tight.

You may be feeling like a teenager if you find yourself with pimples and other skin problems. Don't fret ~ pregnancy causes an increase in oil secretions not to mention those rampant hormones! Your break-outs will go away either after the first trimester as your hormones level off or after delivery.

Multiples: Your breasts are probably very tender and swollen, and your tummy is probably starting to "pooch out," particularly if you've been pregnant before.

8 weeks, long weekend.

I once again was hospitalized over the weekend. I am so glad that Randy stayed the night with me. It made me feel better knowing that he was there watching me ready to take care of me. I don't know the doctors name but he wanted to release me before I kept anything down. I told him that I didn't think so. Not til I kept down lunch. I kept down lunch and Randy took me home.I am not sure how work is going I really haven't called. I cant wait to get back but I know til I can hold things down its best not to rush it. I am eight weeks now. I was able to hold down a bunch of food on Sunday so maybe things are getting better sooner than they did with Tina. I don't know. I still throw up twice a day though.

I have had nothing but problems with Doctors that are not mine. Another example of that was when Dr. Folk came in and changed my prescription. After my midwife already wrote me one. She had already signed it and he went and changed it , didn't even tell her. I told her at my last appointment and she was pretty pissed. Him changing my prescription means I have to wait for more Zofran which I need to keep things down. He did not even know my insurance information to be changing my prescription. Another reason why Doctor Moodley is the best. You never wait when you are in his office for more than five minutes.I am in and out. If something happens to my baby I am so suing Folk he obviously does not know what he is doing. I am out of Zofran in two days and since he changed the pills my insurance will not cover it for awhile. So don't be surprised if I am hospitalized again. I really need those pills for my disease and there was a reason why Brenda wrote what she wrote on the prescription she had already checked with my insurance. One word Malpractice.

Back to work, sick, drs appointment

I went back to work last night. Someone had called off.So I had to work the third shift. That took everything out of me. I have not kept down anything all day. I am not sure if its because its hot or that I am over doing it. Hyperemesis gravidarum is extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy that may lead to dehydration. I figured I better explain what is wrong with me. One in 300 women have the diease lucky me. Mine is semi under control with meds but not always. Its a fight everyday to keep anything down. You never know when it will show its ugly head. I really hope at some point today I can keep something down or its back to er. I hate er.

I had a doctors appointment yesterday, my first one. I am 7 weeks and 3 days. But when Brenda did my pelvic exam she seems to think I am farther along. Maybe two more weeks or so. My due date may change. Right now its Dec 16th, I have an ultrasound on the 31st this month.Doctor will know more than. Right before Doctor Moodleys office moves to Prospect St. I cant wait to have my 4d ultrasound done. I really hope I have a boy. Well that's enough for now time to rest.
